This gown has a few flaws . . . (2010-05-15)
The nice thing about this night gown is that the fit and look is very stylish/flattering and it will definitely be able to easily hold nursing pads. The negative things about this gown is that it runs small. I purchased the small because that is usually what I wear and it is too small. The fabric shrinks so I would recommend getting one size up. The other thing is that the fabric is very thick. It is more of a fabric that one would wear in the daytime rather than to sleep in. I bought this for summer, so I wish it had a lighter weight fabric.
Had to do some sewing (2010-05-12)
I was so happy to find this gown online - I ordered three for when I had my son. However, they didn't seem to fit very well through the bust - I would wake up in the middle of the night be hanging completely out of the top. I had my mom help me to tack up the straps an inch on each side and I then sewed the straps across to help take up some of the slack, but I still spill out of the top in my sleep. Maybe if the fabric overlapped more in the center, or maybe I'm just weird. It's a shame because the fabric is very soft and does not pill. These are also some of the only nightgowns I have that don't wrap around my legs in my sleep. I just wish the top fit me better.
comfy but not amazing (2010-04-01)
I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I tried on this nightgown for the first time. It is very soft and comfortable, which is good, but its main selling point for me was the label "bra-less nursing nightgown." That must be wishful thinking, because it definitely does not work without a sleep bra (and I am not a large person by any means). I kept it, because it is still a good nightgown, just doesn't actually work the way it says it does. Save your money and get a nightgown somewhere else--this one is not worth the price.
best purchase for nursing and postpartum woman (2010-03-28)
I thought it was a bit pricey, but it ended up being well worth it! I bought a second one...and then a third! it does run large so if you are well-endowed, do not be afraid to go a little smaller as it will hold "them" in better. This gown was so flattering and so well made that i started using it as a dress. it seemed to be the only outfit that looked flattering on my after my pregnancy. It was like magic for me and even in pictures i looked great. You must understand that i didn't feel that way in anything else. It is nice to feel sexy again. I am so thankful and have one i use as a gown and 2 that i reserve as dresses. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
